ARCHITECTURE STUDIO
The “Appartement K.” project demonstrates ALAOUI & GUEDIRA ARCHITECTURE STUDIO’s boldness and ingenuity in reinventing spaces. It celebrates the successful fusion of past and present, offering a family a residence that evolves in step with their contemporary aspirations. It is an ode to creativity, originality, and harmonious collaboration between architects and occupants. It is every architect’s dream: to be commissioned to redesign a vast apartment with total creative freedom. This project embodies this unique opportunity to redesign spaces with a resolutely contemporary vision.
Redefining the Ordinary into the Extraordinary
The challenge was clear: transform a classic apartment into a contemporary space, suited to the dynamic lifestyle of a thirty-something couple and their two children. Rita Alaoui and Ismail Guedira, the creative minds behind this project, delved into the world of Haussmannian codes, determined to reinterpret them to meet the modern needs of a young family.
An Ambitious Specification
With a 250 m² space at their disposal, the architects played their cards boldly. The initial brief consisted not only of rethinking the spaces, but also of furnishing the apartment in a spirit of total freedom. The clients’ curiosity and taste for contemporary design served as a compass, allowing Rita Alaoui and Ismail Guedira to push the boundaries of conventional design.
A Balance between Refinement and Originality
The final result speaks for itself. Open, warm living spaces in light tones were created with refined and original inspiration. Every detail was carefully considered to create a welcoming atmosphere while reflecting the family’s modern lifestyle.
Continuous Evolution
Today, the family has settled into this redesigned space. Enchanted by the fluidity and brightness of the new layout, they continue to enhance the apartment with designer pieces and works of art. Rita Alaoui and Ismail Guedira, as creative guides, remain on hand to oversee the project’s progress with care.
