Located in the province of Taounate, the Ghafsaï House of Culture is a cultural project designed by AGA Studio, an architectural firm in Morocco, for the Ministry of Culture.
Developed on a 1,700 m² site, this project aims to create a key cultural facility, adapted to the needs of the local population.
The project is situated in a striking mountainous environment. The architectural design takes into account the site’s topography, transforming natural constraints into structural elements of the project.
The volumes are arranged in tiers, creating a harmonious relationship with the terrain.
The program includes:
a performance hall
a library
exhibition spaces
cultural workshops
These spaces promote cultural dissemination and the transmission of heritage.
The project combines contemporary architecture with Moroccan cultural references, using local materials and a contextual approach.
AGA Studio is responsible for the design and project management as the architect in Morocco.
