AGA Studio Winner of the YMAA 2022 – Gastronomy Space Category
Architecture at the service of the culinary experience
AGA Studio was honored at the 2022 Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA), rwinning the award in the Gastronomy Space category for its La Maison, Fresh & Bio Restaurant and Café project in Rabat. This distinction recognizes our architectural approach, which places user experience at the heart of the design process.
Designed as a place of conviviality and well-being, La Maison, Fresh & Bio offers an immersion in a warm universe where nature and light play an essential role. The choice of natural materials, the attention to detail and the fluid organization of spaces contribute to creating a welcoming and soothing atmosphere, in keeping with the restaurant’s philosophy, focused on healthy and organic food.
An architectural project in harmony with its philosophy
The restaurant’s design is inspired by the idea of a return to basics, where each element of the layout has been designed to enhance the dining experience of visitors. Wood, natural stone, and plant touches give the space an authentic and timeless identity. The spatial layout promotes fluid circulation and natural interaction between customers and the preparation areas, creating a true synergy between the kitchen and the dining room.
The main challenge of the project was to create a setting conducive to relaxation and tasting, while integrating the functional constraints associated with operating a catering establishment. Thanks to an in-depth study of the ergonomics of the premises and a tailor-made approach, we succeeded in reconciling aesthetics and practicality.
