AGA Studio Winner of the YMAA 2024 – Leisure and Tourism Category
A project serving culture and sharing
It is with great pride that we announce that AGA Studio has won another award at the Young Moroccan Architecture Awards (YMAA) 2024, in the Leisure and Tourism category, for our project Socio-Cultural Center of Kenitra, carried out for The Hassan II Foundation for MRE.
This project fully embodies our commitment to a architecture that carries meaning and social impact.. Designed as a space for the exchange and transmission of knowledge, this center aims to host cultural, artistic and educational activities, thus contributing to the enrichment of local life and the creation of links between generations.
An architecture designed for interaction and openness
From the very first sketches, our aim was to imagine a place that encourages interaction and accessibility. The The Socio-Cultural Center of Kenitra is organized around modular and bright spaces, facilitating the adaptability of the premises according to the needs of users.
The architecture of the building reflects a harmonious dialogue between modernity and local heritage. The use of authentic materials, combined with clean lines and intelligent integration of natural light, gives rise to a space that is both contemporary and anchored in its environment. The generous volumes, the planted patios and the judiciously positioned openings offer visitors an immersive experience where each space becomes an invitation to discovery and sharing.
A distinction that highlights our architectural approach
Win this YMAA Award 2024 is a valuable recognition of our work and our architectural approach, which aims to create spaces high cultural and social added value. We would like to thank the Hassan II Foundation for MREfor their trust, as well as all of our partners who participated in the realization of this ambitious project.
This award confirms our ambition to develop projects that transcend their primary function to become true places of life and development. It encourages us to continue our commitment to a architecture serving communities and collective well-being
