Restaurant DA MILENA, Hay Riad – Rabat

The project consisted of the complete fitting out of a 220 m2 space, spread over a ground floor and a mezzanine, to create an Italian restaurant.

Starting from a completely bare space, we designed and created the entire space, including the custom design of the furniture as well as particular attention paid to architectural and decorative details.

The choice of materials was guided by the desire to combine refinement and comfort in a setting that is both welcoming and sophisticated. Pale pink velvet banquettes form a subtle contrast with dark blue velvet chairs, while marble tables add a touch of luxury. The bar counter is clad in green ceramic tiles, providing a modern and fresh texture. Smoked glass pendant lights provide warm lighting and create an intimate atmosphere.

The white brick walls, combined with imposing arches, structure the space and give an impressive height to the volumes. The simple and elegant design is accentuated by neon elements, particularly above the staircase leading upstairs.

One of the major challenges of the project was managing the large volumes while maintaining a warm atmosphere. One of the major challenges of the project was managing the large volumes while maintaining a warm atmosphere. The custom furniture design also made it possible to maximize space, while maintaining fluid circulation and user-friendly spaces.

Another central aspect of the project was the integration of a pizza oven visible from the main room. This oven has been integrated to become a visual focal point while respecting safety and ventilation standards.

Through close collaboration with the client, we were able to deliver a space that was both functional and aesthetically striking, offering restaurant guests a dining experience in a unique setting.
